Contractor Blues

They're asked to build, to fix, to mend,

But oh, the twists that fate will send!

For customers, with whims unchecked,

Demand the moon, and then expect...

A castle in a single day,

Or miracles in every way.

They haggle prices, scoff at quotes,

And sometimes treat them like mere goats!

"But can't you do it faster, friend?"

They cry, as deadlines swiftly bend.

With sweat upon their furrowed brows,

Contractors face these trials, and how!

Yet through it all, they soldier on,

With humor bright, though hopes be gone.

For in the end, they know the jest,

That customers put them to the test.

So here's to contractors, brave and true,

Who face each challenge, through and through.

Though customers may sometimes abuse,

In the end, it's all just... contractor blues!
